Raton Police Help Citizens from Becoming a Victim of Crime

The City of Raton is home to all types of people, and the majority of them are law abiding.  Unfortunately, some are not and it is very difficult to determine who is the criminal .  For this reason, citizens must be prepared to protect themselves.  The Raton Police Department feels your best defense is a personal security plan aimed at reducing the opportunity for crminals to victimize you.

The Raton Police Department has developed a Personal Security Circular to encourage individuals to practice crime prevention measures to increase their personal safety and security.  This Circular identifies prevention measures when at home, while walking, driving, or parking, when using an automated teller machine, at work or in the outdoors.   Please review this circular and impliment the safety procedures that will help you in case a situation may arise.
