  • Capulin Volcano, a nearly perfectly-shaped cinder cone, was formed approximately 60,000 years ago, rising more than 1000 feet above the surrounding landscape. Now extinct, Capulin's a great place to explore geologic history, go for a hike, bring a picnic, or take a tour.
