City of Raton Municipal Election Results

The results are official for the March 2, 2010 Municipal Election.

Voters made their way to the polls, Tuesday to decide who will fill the three positions up for election.  Those positions on the ballot are for District 1 Commissioner, District 3 Commissioner and Municipal Judge.  The following is a recap of the official results from each of the polling places:

  

 

 

A public canvassing was held on Thursday, March 4 at 3:00 pm in the City Commission Chambers where City Clerk/Treasurer Michael Anne Lannon and Magistrate Judge Warren Walton reviewed the election documents to determine the official results.  Mrs. Sandra Mantz, Mr. Jesse James Johnson and Mr. Roy J. Manfredi will officially take office at a swearing-in ceremony on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 5:30 pm in the City Commission Chambers.  The Commission will hold its organizational meeting on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 6:00 pm. 

 The City of Raton would like to thank everyone who exercised their right to vote and the candidates for taking the time to run.
