A Christmas Carol, December 4-12

It's a special time in Raton, when friends and family - old and new - are invited to join with the community in our holiday traditions. Wear your mittens, pack a thermos of cocoa, and let loose your inner child, because Santa, Scrooge, and all the angels are in Raton this season!

  • November 28 – January 1: City of Bethlehem, annual interactive Christmas extravaganza.

  • November 28: Free Kids' Movie, “Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas”.

  • November 28: Holiday Tree Lighting & Visit from Santa. 

  • November 28: Old Pass Gallery "Home for the Holidays" Reception.

  • December 4-12: Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

  • December 5: Free Kids' Movie.

  • December 5: Electric Light Parade, the 15th annual Raton holiday parade.

  • December 5-31: Raton Museum Holiday Exhibit.

  • December 12: Free Kids' Movie.

  • December 19: Free Kids' Movie.

  • December 19: Jingle Bell Run, 5K fun run to provide holiday toys for needy kids.

  • December 19: Christmas on the Chicorica, over 1,000 luminarias line the riverwalk and boardwalk trails of this world-class state park and historic coal camp.
