Raton Pride "Keep It Clean"

The goal of the program is to instill a sense of community pride and ownership in the citizens of Raton.

  • Organizations must be civic groups, registered 501.c.3 organizations or local chapters of national organizations (Lions, FFA, PTA, etc)
  • The City of Raton will designate an area that the organization will adopt as its program area.
  • Groups will be required to have two (2) cleanups per year totaling one hundred (100) man-hours
  • After completing the first fifty (50) man-hours of cleanup, groups will receive a Raton Pride - "Keep It Clean" sign printed with the name of their organization, designating the area as maintained by said group.
  • After completing the second fifty (50) man-hours of cleanup, the group will receive a $500.00 donation to their organization from the City of Raton.
  • Participants are required to adopt for a minimum two-year commitment.
  • Organizations that have adopted areas are:

              Raton Lions Club
